by Adam Smith

All you bros training for the deadlift world record are going to have to go just a little bit harder, because Benni Magnusson literally raised the bar at Europe’s Strongest Man 2014. The new deadlift world record is 1016.33lbs (461kg). After a series of Viking-eqsue screams following his successful record attempt, Benni is left shaking and unable to answer any of the questions from the interview. The Icelandic powerlifter is no stranger to world records, having previously held the record for heaviest Hummer tire deadlift among others.
