The NBA’s 2014-15 Most Valuable Player, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors’, and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Lebron James headline the All-NBA First Team which the league revealed Thursday. Curry and James received first place votes on all 129 ballots. This marks the first First Team All-NBA Selection for Curry and the ninth in twelve seasons for James, putting him in a tie for third most selections all-time.

Accompanying Curry and James on the First Team are James Harden of the Houston Rockets, Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies. Harden  who accumulated 125 First Team votes made his second consecutive appearance on the First Team. Gasol who garnered 68 First Team votes and Anthony Davis who collected 119 of his own, earned First Team honors for the first time.

The All-NBA Second team included the Oklahoma City Thunders’ Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, LaMarcus Aldridge of the Portland Trail Blazers, Pau Gasol of the Chicago Bulls and DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings.

The All-NBA Third Team is composed of some of the leagues young bright stars. Making the team was the Warriors’ Klay Thompson, the Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, the Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving and San Antonio Spurs’ Tim Duncan (who became the second oldest player to be named to an All-NBA team and tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant for the most selections all-time with 15).

The All-NBA Teams were voted on  by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United states and Canada. With the media voting for the All-NBA First, Second and Third  Teams by position with points given out on a 5-3-1 basis. While the players selected without a doubt deserved their selections I’m sure there are a few players whom the fans felt got snubbed. Who do you guys think were this years All-NBA snubs?
