San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick is one of the NFL’s rising young stars who had to work extremely hard to get to where he currently is. Coming out of the University of Nevada Colin was drafted with the fourth pick in the 2011 NFL Drafts second round. And threw his first two seasons has hardly used and filled the position of back-up quarterback to then starter Alex Smith. However late in his second season Colin would have to take over the reigns as Alex Smith suffered a concussion and would be out a couple weeks. The starting position would stay Colin’s as he took the 49ers all the way to SuperBowl XLVII where they would eventually lose to the Baltimore Ravens. To this day the 49ers starting quarterback and franchise player Colin Kaepernick and the future of the organization rest on his shoulders but all that does is drive Colin even harder. He fully understands the responsibilities he has and knows the only way to get his team to where it needs to be is through hard work in the off-season. The off-season allows players the time to look back and recognize what they need to work on for the upcoming season.

In the video below we see STACK catch up with Colin and follow him around as he goes through a typical training day in his grueling off-season. Take a look at how Colin Kaepernick prepared himself for the 2015 season below!
