Exercise Tutorial: The Upright Row

The upright row is a compound movement that will help you hit all the three heads of the deltoids while giving you a set of traps that will strike fear in others. Adding this exercise into your shoulder routine will make sure that you are hitting a majority of your shoulder and upper back muscles. While you might enjoy shoulder pressing for the entirety of your shoulder workout it might be a good idea to begin fitting the upright row into your shoulder repertoire.
