How A Disabled Veteram Conquered Mount Kilimanjaro

An unexpected explosion takes away your legs and leaves you with a crucial decision: Sit on the couch for the rest of your days or you can fight to walk again. This was the exact circumstance that the brave Julian Torres encountered after an IED (Improvised explosive device) was detonated below him and took away his legs while serving as a USMC Sergeant in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. But despite the unfortunate hand he was dealt, Sergeant Torres refused to give up on his life long dream of conquering the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro and accomplished the feat just five years after losing his limbs. All possible because Sergeant Torres set his sights high and wouldn’t settle for anything less.
