The Golden State Warriors might have took home the NBA championship last season but you wouldn’t be able to tell if you have been watching the way in which they have been playing to kick-off the 2016 regular season. As they came out the gates with a hunger and determination most did not expect out of them. There has been no signs of complacency which is a result of not only a great coaching staff but phenomenal leadership from within the locker room. It all starts with the reigning MVP Stephen Curry who has somehow managed to take his game to another level this year leaving no doubt as to who is the best player in the league is. Steph continued to set the example last night as the Warriors headed to battle against the Los Angeles Lakers in an attempt to set the NBA record for most consecutive wins to start a season. And break the record they would; as they completely dominated the Lakers and would go on to win by a whooping 34 point margin but if you have been following the Warriors this should come as no surprise. They currently sit at an impressive 16-0 with their sights on taking home the Larry O’Brien trophy yet again. Think the Warriors have what it takes to go back-to-back? If I were to judge off of these first 16 games I would have to say it is a no brainer but as head coach Luke Walton said, it is only November.
