James Harden Propels The Rockets To Victory With 46 Point Performance

by Brandon

Last year James Harden was on a rampage, lighting the NBA on fire and finishing second in the MVP voting for his efforts but my how things have changed. Steph Curry has moved head and shoulders above the rest of the pack as the clear-cut front-runner for MVP, barring injury. And as a result many have forgotten about the beard and his team but most of that has to do with the Houston Rockets disappointing 29-29 record. They have regressed tremendously which resulted in the firing of their Head Coach and an attempt to trade big man Dwight Howard. But James Harden and the Rockets showed a glimpse of hope last night as they over came a 21 point third quarter deficit behind the beards 46-point effort. Going on to beat the Portland Trail Blazers by a final score of 119-105 and snapping Portland’s six game winning streak. Hopefully providing for a building block for the rest of the season.

Take a look at the highlights from James Harden’s 46 point outburst in the video below!
