The 2016 NCAA Tournament was filled with many unexpected twists and turns but if you tuned in to the National Championship last night then you well know that the best was saved for last.
It was a clash between the remaining two survivors of the field that began with 64 and two of the best basketball programs in the nation – North Carolina and Villanova. Who put on quite a performance, answering each others runs making for a close game going down the stretch.
To be exact it was a three point game, Villanova holding the advantage and just over ten seconds left to play. North Carolina point guard Joel Berry II had the ball, passed it over to senior guard Marcus Paige and well what occurred over the next seven seconds is nothing short of remarkable.
