Here we get a look at a younger Mr.O going through a back workout, looking to fill up his back. Phil had been on a low carb diet for about a month and says his back is usually the first muscle to flatten out when he is on a low carb regiment. As a result he awarded himself a high carb day prior to his back to workout to push all the nutrients he consumed into his back, which would lead to a thicker, fuller looking back. This is yet another video of Phil Heath destroying his workout. It’s amazing how Phil has managed to maintain the same work ethic he had from before he was a 4x Mr.Olympia title holder. The greats always find ways to continue motivating themselves and that is the separating factor between Phil and the competition.
