A big part of being a successful bodybuilder is how proportionate of a physique you have and that is exactly what separates 4x Mr O Phil Heath from the rest of the pack. Nobody has the combination of size to go along with a perfectly sculpted physique but that doesn’t just apply to the upper body, it goes for legs too. While you might hate to train legs and only perform some squats and leg extensions, keep in mind how bad your legs will look if you lack definition in your calves and hamstrings. Especially calves which is the muscle people pay the least amount of attention to. Next time you feel like finishing your leg day early and skipping the calf portion of your routine just think about how hard “The Gift’ trains his calves. He didn’t obtain a perfect pair of calves by just walking around town, he put the time in training them at the gym.
