An emotional Tracy Morgan sat down for his first interview since the June 14 car crash that took the life of his friend and fellow comedian James McNair. Tracy was thankful just to be able to be on the “Today” show following all the injuries he suffered. “I can’t believe I am here. I can’t believe I am in front of you, just seeing the tragedy that happened. It just touches me,” he said. He would go on to reveal that his family was supposed to be in then car with him but instead decided to leave them home because his 10 month old daughter at the time was teething. It’s crazy how things work sometimes. While the physical damages are extremely painful, nothing compares to the emotional damage Tracy has suffered. Dealing with the loss of a close friend is very tough to handle. “Bones heal, but the loss of my friend will never heal. I am happy that Walmart stepped up to the plate…” While Tracy isn’t close to being 100% yet, I know his fans sure can’t wait for him to make them laugh once again. If there is anything to take away from this unfortunate circumstance it’s that you should NEVER take a day for granted because you truly never know if it’ll be your last!
