All-nighters become a part of your life at one point or another, they are the inevitable. Whether it be in the form of an emergency cram session in preparation for your final exam or a last minute gathering of information for a presentation you are to present the following day at work it seems like no matter what you do, all nighters cannot be avoided. However, this does not mean that you should continue on this routine of pulling off all-nighter after all-nighter because they actually negatively affect you in numerous ways. Such as decreasing your ability to effectively retain information, lead to weight gain and mood swings, as well as dampening your overall social skills. Yeah I know, I had no idea either but as they say – better to know later than not at all.
