The bench press can also be known as an ego lift because us dude all attempt to lift more than we actually can as appose to practicing proper form and gradually building our strength up. The need to throw on more weight is real and if not corrected can lead to serious injury. The purpose of a bench press should not be to throw around as much weight possible so you can show off in front of all the ladies at the gym. But rather to building strength, size and help shed body fat. Apparently the huge guy in the video below did not get the memo and as a result uses horrendous form to say the least. You can not deny his strength but his form should without a doubt be the guideline for how not to bench press. So correct your form before you become a fool who gets caught ego lifting at the gym like the dude in the video below!
